
Dream Chasers: Bob Sanders Chasing Dreams Foundation has partnered with Indianapolis Public School’s Crispus Attucks Medical Magnet High School to host the Dream Chasers program with students in grades 8-12. Dream Chasers are a group of 21 diverse students selected by school officials and Foundation staff to participate in the program and must have completed the application process, including a written essay. Upon admission to the program in the eighth grade, Dream Chasers participate in weekly tutoring sessions with an emphasis on general subjects and areas of underperformance. In addition, they will be exposed to various cultural activities including guest speakers and field trips, as well as, having the opportunity to visit college and university campuses. Once admitted to the program, Dream Chasers will participate in activities throughout their middle and high school career.
Bob Sanders Weekend: Recently, Bob Sanders and his Chasing Dreams Foundation made $10,000 contributions to both the expERIEnce Children’s Museum and Erie Zoo in Erie, Pennsylvania. As a result of these donations, February 28-March 1 has been designated "Bob Sanders Weekend." The funds will go to sponsor FREE admission for the entire community to visit the exERIEnce Children’s Museum and/or Erie Zoo on their designated day. Bob’s desire is that everyone, adults and children, will take advantage of this opportunity. He is extremely focused on encouraging those who have never been to these venues to visit on Bob Sanders Weekend.
Bob Sanders Chasing Dreams Foundation Community Ticket Block: Annually, Bob Sanders Chasing Dreams Foundation provides a block of 20 tickets to each Colts home game to a local deserving non-profit. Groups attending receive a unique game-day experience including their photo taken on the Lucas Oil Stadium field, Bob Sanders Chasing Dreams Foundation t-shirt, game ticket and a meal voucher for each attendee.
Bob Sanders Skills & Drills Football Camp: Since 2007, Bob has brought NFL football to Erie, Pennsylvania through his Bob Sanders Skills & Drills Football Camp. This free camp is open to area high school students who want to increase their skills and elevate their game to the next level. In addition, Sanders is on-hand to help instruct drills, share life skills messages and interact with campers. In 2008, this two-day camp experience was featured on a national NFL/United Way campaign to encourage youth to live healthy, active lifestyles.
